Brainbox Books Shop (“we”, “us”) publishes puzzle, colouring, and activity books and sells printable PDF copies directly from this site. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and how it’s used.
Information we collect
Contact form. When you send us a message, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. This is emailed directly to us and is not stored in a database. We use it only to reply to your enquiry.
PDF purchases.Payments are processed entirely by PayPal — we never see or store your card details. We keep a record of the PayPal order ID, the book purchased, and a download link (including how many times it’s been used and when it expires) so we can let you re-download your purchase. We do not store your name, email, or address alongside this record.
Marketplace region.To show you the right “Buy on Amazon” link and price for your country, we make a one-time lookup of your approximate location from your IP address. The result is saved only in your browser’s local storage on your device — it is not sent to or stored on our servers, and you can change it at any time using the region selector on the site.
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we do not run any third-party analytics on this site.
How we use your information
We use the information above only to:
- Respond to messages sent through the contact form
- Verify and fulfil PDF purchases, and let you re-download what you bought
- Show accurate Amazon pricing and links for your region
Sharing your information
We don’t sell or rent your information. We share information only with the third parties needed to run the site:
- PayPal, to process payments for PDF purchases
- Amazon, when you follow a “Buy on Amazon” link to purchase a physical or Kindle copy
- Google (Gmail), to deliver contact form messages to our inbox
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data.
Children’s privacy
Some of our books are designed for children, but the site itself is intended for use by adults purchasing on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can clear your saved marketplace region at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage for this site, or by selecting a different region from the site’s region selector. To ask us to delete a contact message or purchase record, get in touch using the details below.
